I give thanks for the beauty of frost and the heart warming sunny autumn days filled with making apple crisps. We are trying not to eat them all so that we have some for winter :) What are you grateful for? I want to wish you a blessed New Moon on this day. A new cycle is beginning, and perhaps you feel like something is still in the process of dying and letting go. That’s what is happening in the natural world, and also on the inside, as we are inextricably linked. The Equinox and the full moon portal was a potent entry into the dark half of the year. Now we begin the descent towards Samhain, Halloween, and the Celtic New Year. I love this time of year and the deepening it brings… The liquid black night feels like she wraps herself around me and invites me to sink into the Earth and into my own truth… Are you making time to slow down in the evenings? Can you possibly cut down on the amount of screen time you have at night, and allow yourself to tune in deeper to what gifts the growing darkness is bringing? This is the perfect time to reflect and set intentions. For me this next moon cycle is about completion before we enter Celtic New Year on November 1st. It is a time to make space for grief and really honour any endings and feelings of loss. Grieving is so needed for a healthy sense of aliveness and connection to our joy. When we make space for grief, we are allowing the truth of life and death to flow through us to make peace and sweep us clean for what yet is to be...
With love always,
